i cant really say but at this rate you'll lose quite abit quite quickly. just keep on pushing yourself trying to do more and you will notice quite quickly the endurence will come.

A realistic target for weight loss is 1 to 2 pounds per week (any more than that and you're probably losing muscle as well as fat).

So by the start of May ... 8 weeks = 8 to 16 pounds realistic target for weight loss.

Currently: Kickboxing and variants.

Previously: Karate (Seido, Shotokan, Seidokan), Ju Jitsu, Judo, Aikido, Fencing.

3 pounds in 2 weeks isn't bad. Thats a healthy way to do it. Some people lose too much too fast and become sick.

For a rough estimate, go according to what you've already lost. Ex. losing 3 pounds every 2 weeks = 6 pounds a month.

If you mean visibly notice weight loss that depends on how big you to start with with. I've got a mate whos family have a house in part of France and when he goes he tends to lose about a stone quite quickly but because hes big you don't really notice it and he puts it back on again quite quickly.

From my personal experiance (I have dropped two pants sizes now) it has taken my well over 8 months. I am STILL not where I want to be (I want to fit into 36's, I can fit into 38's. They are a little snug but I can :) ) Your body will loose weight quickly at first but its going to level out.

The best thing you can do is eat about every 3 3-1/2 hours but small amounts of food.

The hardest thing for me was that I felt that I was working for hard and doing everything so much, and I wasnt seeing the results. Just trust me when I say that your body will change, it just takes time.

Best of luck to you, and DONT GIVE UP!

Ohhhh and a tip to keep your sanity:

When you have a craving for a food, like a Double Western Cheese Burger. Go and have the burger but try to only have half of it. Just know that depriving yourself from something will only drive you crazy!
