The worst injury was a popped right hamstring training for a fight. A big softball for a hamstring. Worse pain I ever felt. I was outta comission for 6 months. Rhuarc
Hello kenpolifter, What are the cups you are refering to? The only cups that I can think of now are the one all brothers out there must wear at their groin for continuing the family line. *smile* Cheers. eyeball-san
Dude! Always wear a cup. I currently have what is believed to be a torn medial meniscus. That is the ring of cartelige in the knee that separates the two legbones. Still waiting to see a specialist to confirm it though. I have a May 6 appointment. Good thing it's not life threatening. ninjanurse
I have arthritis in my knees, wrists, ankles, and lower back from years of training and heavy bag work. Recently I had to have my wrist screwed together because the bones were falling apart. It has been a long road...but I am back to training again (with some minor limitations). I have also had your usual sprains, breaks, bruises and even a few concussions over the years...but risk is inherent in our chosen arts isn't it?
