BKJ1216 Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 Please someone tell me that splits aren't a part of karate. White Belt- Shudokan Karate
SaiFightsMS Posted February 26, 2003 Posted February 26, 2003 The abilit to do the splits are not an essential part of doing karate. It is just something that many who practice a martial art think is cool to be able to do and they think that if the can do the splits they will be able to execute head high kicks with ease. It is not necessary to be able to do the splits to kick head high.
Looneyas Posted February 27, 2003 Posted February 27, 2003 I agree but its not the splits its the Dynamic Flexibility that lets u kick high, along with strength. Learn and u shall TeachTeach and you shall learn,https://www.southpacifictkd.com.au
