superkicker Posted August 27, 2001 Posted August 27, 2001 simply look at tennis star Pat Rafter. He sweats so much that he has to change shirts at least four times in a match. He has had tests done on this and it was found that he is extremely fit, his body just functions differently. Go hard and hit them where it hurts!
dtstiachi Posted March 28, 2005 Posted March 28, 2005 Isn't sweat the body's way of cooling itself? "The journey of a 1,000 miles starts with but a single step."
Sandan Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 This also came up one night for us in training. Sweating when accompanied by huge loss of breath and the feeling of inability to continue is bad. This means the body has over heated and well it's telling you to stop. The body that sweats be it quickly or slowly is really getting ready to work and is keeping the temperature regulated. This can also happen to fit people who tend to sweat when eating hot (chili) food. Again this is a good thing. of course it also happens to over weight people, but for different reasons. --Give your child mental blocks for Christmas.
Mr Pockets Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 It is true that fit people sweat more, I don't really know why. Fat people seem to sweat all the time (?)
