  1. I take creatine monohydrate and find it works very well. It gives you a lot more energy so you can work out longer and it helps in the recovery and growth of muscle tissue. Some people are wary of creatine because of the unkown lonterm effects but it's working great for me and most proffessional athletes use it.
  2. I snapped my anterior ligament in my ankle in a mauy thai fight and was unable to walk for a weak. Injuries like thes are very annoying as i could not start training again for a couple of months. Now i've got a lot of scar tissue in my ankle and it will never be 100% but i can still fight. Due to the nature of martial arts there are bound to be injuries but i think it is worth it.
  3. simply look at tennis star Pat Rafter. He sweats so much that he has to change shirts at least four times in a match. He has had tests done on this and it was found that he is extremely fit, his body just functions differently.
  4. ems is great for helping damaged muscles but as far as it goes for actual training it is far less superior than the old fashion methods as it lacks the resistance found from weightlifting. The resistance muscles encounter from weight lifting is one of the key elements in building muscle.
  5. you should always have your hands under your arse or lower back to give your back support and stop any damage from occurring.
