I do enjoy it, and would like to return but how do I get the "I'm terrible, I'll never get this" out of my mind. There's only one way to "get this:" by showing up to train! You have no competition in your dojo; everyone there supports each other on their journey. Always ask questions on things that you don't understand, and if there are any movements in particular that you're having trouble with (for example, using your hips, relaxing your shoulders, half body/full body, etc), ask your instructor for specific drills you can use to improve them (and your instructor will have plenty). 1

Yes indeed! I am focusing more on day to day, and getting into training and practicing more. No missing classes unless it's a big emergency. I'm glad I'm surrounded by good instructors/Senseis' and other students that are supportive. Thanks to all for the support too

You're doing great! Take it one day at a time. I have a little training diary that I make sure I do something everyday and fill it out. 1

I know I've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating; it is a great way to motivate your training. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

I think I am getting overwhelmed trying to pick it all up perfect, and get lost That's a common trap. Don't focus on doing it perfectly. Focus on doing it better than you did it yesterday.
