Hello everyone I’m freshly new and excited to be here. I’ve only recently begun to really train with weapons with real fervour and as a result I’m a big ignorant with the nuances of branding and editions. I picked up these Sais from a yard sale for the staggering amount of $5 US. I’m pretty sure that they are Shureido Sais just from certain features that are consistent with Shureido Sais but I was hoping anyone here could verify this and any other information about them would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

First of all, Welcome to KarateForums.com, MartialAGuy; glad that you're here!!

The Sai's in your pictures look like Shureido Sai's. They're not Century Martial Arts Supply Store Sai's, which have distinctive Tsukagashirs. The basic rounded look of the Tsukagashirs found in your pictures make me believe that your Sai's are Shureido Sai's.

Enjoy them!!

Welcome to the forums! Those definitely look like Shureido sai, to me. The big indicators for me are the flat moto, thick yoko, and plain round tsukagashira. There is always the possibility that they aren't Shureido, of course, since there are no markings to definitively confirm it, but they sure look like my late Sensei's sai.

Welcome to the Forum! Even if they aren't Shureido, they certainly look like decent quality! for 5$ too! I'm very jealous! enjoy them!

I am not expert as I never trailed with the weapon, despite owning a pair for 20 years, but they look good to me.  Enjoy!
