sensei8
Shogun by James Cavell When I first read Shogun many, many years ago, the Japanese characters spoke Japanese. This 2023 publication has the Japanese characters speaking English, which truly, isn't my cup of tea. **Proof is on the floor!!!
ryanryu Posted yesterday at 02:06 PM Share Posted yesterday at 02:06 PM I’ve been digging through some old books in the attic for re-reads. I just started Star Wars: Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. It’s the 20th anniversary edition so they had the author put in footnotes about what he was thinking for each of his decisions. Really fun idea! Has anyone else seen that before? 1 “Studying karate nowadays is like walking in the dark without a lantern.” Chojun Miyagi (attributed)https://www.lanterndojo.com/https://karatenobody.blogspot.com/
bushido_man96
That's pretty cool. I like to see what an author was thinking when putting things together. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
