I'm sure I'm late to the party, but because I now have a work-issued iPhone, I've discovered a bunch of martial arts podcasts.

It's been interesting to hear interviews and discussions, and it's inspired me to train more. One in particular was a very lengthy interview with Patrick McCarthy on Whistlekick.

I listen to Invisible Sensei sometimes, he's pretty good. I went off Karate by Jesse, he was just too "in the face" with marketing etc...

More ITF Taekwon-Do related though he does interview kickboxers and MMA fighters, but I really like the BlackBelter podcast.

I'd be interested in any other recommendations.

I’ve been digging through the forum searching for podcast recommendations, but coming up dry.

I get that these shows naturally come and go, but I can point to a few I’ve enjoyed that have large back catalogs of episodes:

·       Karate Café – only listened to the episodes hosted by Dan and Paul, but the show started way back when with different co-hosts. Paul does Okinawan karate, in a big organization and running his own dojo. Dan does Chinese martial arts, off-and-on in different settings over the years. I think the differing perspectives are quite interesting.

·       Conversations on Karate – two British co-hosts, a sensei and his student, giving different perspectives on training. Good interviews!

·       Way of the Fist – two American co-hosts, billed as traditional Okinawan karate-ka, but also quite involved in sport karate (like WKF style). One is/was living on Okinawa, the second runs a dojo of his own.

Anybody discover anything lately?
