Martial Arts movies

Featured Replies

Anybody seen anything good lately? I can't really get into the Anime stuff, (Must be the grey hair), seen all the oldies, keen on some new release. The Chinese haven't release a blockbuster since Shadow . Maybe lockdowns have slowed down production? I don't know. Must be time for another re-make of Flying swords of Dragon's Gate!!!!!

Bulltahr, I guess it depends on what type of martial arts movie you are looking for. I think these are all good ones (I also included TV series):

- Mortal Kombat (the new movie)

- Jiu Jutsu

- Cobra Kai (TV Series)

- Warrior (TV Series)

- Kung Fu (TV Series)

- Daredevil (TV Series -- comic book based but good martial arts)

- Titans (TV Series -- comic book based but good martial arts)

- All the John Wick movies

Upcoming movies that have potential:

- Shang Chi

- Snake Eyes

- John Wick 4

I'm so excited for the Shang Chi movie. As a long time comics fan, I'm so pumped that the character is getting screen time.

I found myself watching a lot of old MA movies at the beginning of lock down along with some of my favorite classics as a way to pass time as I worked from home. Like you, I'm in need of some new material.
