kchenault Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 OK, now while I am a guy, my wife is a nurse who worked several years for an ObGyn. Having too little body fat can complicate a females menstruel cycle, such as sporadic, irregular cycles. It can also cause endometriosis. This is a building up of the unshed lining of the uteran wall. This can cause serious problems when the time comes and a woman wishes to have children(infertility). My wife suffered from irregular cycles in high school that were accompanied by intense, and I'm talking lying on the floor in fetal position, cramps. Her doctor told her it was normal for some women to have intense cramping, but she started taking birth control pills for this very problem, and her cycle became regular. Please see an ObGyn about this. You'll be glad you did. Ken ChenaultTFT - It does a body good!
