OK So I have a Japan made Tokaido 12 oz gi that has greyed considerably, has coloured belt stains and dirt type stains on knees and backside. Any recommendations on getting it back into a presentable condition?

If you go for the Napisan probably let you gi soak in it prior to sticking it in the washing machine.

I had to do it when i had to get some blood out of my gi

Wow, some really stubborn stains, soaked scrubbed it in, heavy duty wash and no go, stains have been there quite a while, might need some toxic assistance.....

hahaha of course. I know some of those really stubborn stains you would need to do it over a course of several washes to try and get it out.

Probably wouldn't recommend Bleach, because i did and it kind of destroyed my gi. Maybe my bad because I may have used the wrong one.
