Nidan Melbourne Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 Oh and one of our forum Members (RJCKarate) just pointed out to me he also attended this seminar. Neither of us realised it at the time which makes it a little bit funnier also that we corrected each others technique at one point in the seminar

ThatGUY Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 Went to the same seminar in Sydney. Jesse-san Sensei, has an incredible teaching ability. Found the seminar to be great! Live and breath every breath as if it was your last. Persevere, endure, overcome and conquer all that stands before you. Remain respectuful and live the lifestyle of a true Budo-ka. Karate-ka. Remember there is always someone out there that knows more, has done more, is more. Be open, learn, respect and develop as a human and a karate-ka.Osu!
Safroot Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Excuse my lack of experience but what is Mumuchi, gamaku & biomechanics ? "The Martial Arts begin with a point and end in a circle." Sosai Mas Oyama founder of Kyokushin Karate.
Nidan Melbourne Posted December 16, 2016 Author Posted December 16, 2016 Excuse my lack of experience but what is Mumuchi, gamaku & biomechanics ?Biomechanics is how you move. Muchimi is how you keep in contact with your opponent, along with releasing techniques with power. So starting off slow then building up and exploding. Refer to: http://www.karatebyjesse.com/the-two-sides-of-muchimi/Gamaku in essence is about Hip Usage and power generation. Prototype Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Sounds like a fun time!I agree!!Does anyone know his rank?? I know he's of no particular core style anymore, according to his writings. He's a 4th Dan. I would like to know which style. It's one of the original ones, but it could be either Okinawa or Japanese.
