Too much or not enough

Recommended Posts

Sounds like a potential blood pressure and/or blood sugar issue.

Irrespective of what it is, you should seek a doctor for some real medical advice.

Echo what others say about seeing a doctor.

One other question...do you make sure you keep hydrated during workouts? I can get light-headed after a longer run or more intense karate workout but it's usually because I don't hydrate enough.

Water is something that is never mentioned enough. Everyone is expected to have at least a litre throughout the two hour training session.

Solid post!!

Per my doctor, I'm supposed to drink about 200 ounces of water, without physical exertions. In that, my doctor says that if you're thirsty, it's to late; you're already dehydrated. In addition, a little test to see if you're hydrated enough is...

The color of your urine. If you're properly hydrated, you're urine will be the color of lemonade, and the darker the urine, the more dehydrated one is.
