Home training?

How often does everybody train at home and what (if any) equipment do you use? I have a free standing punchbag and a floor to ceiling speedball in the garage which I try to use 3 times a week. I also do pull-ups and core work along with techniques and kata practice. I'm also thinking about throwing some jogging into the mix. I just thought it'd be interesting to see what everyone else does outwith the Dojo.

Front room - kata!

Daily, as a rule but of late been maybe 3 nights a week.

Bed room - exercise (general stuff sit ups , push ups, leg lifts etc **

Twice a week, as a rule but so far this year only once a week.

Garage - Makawari board.

Soon to be upgraded with a bag (of sorts) to kick and punch. Chin up bar, and dips rig.

TBA !

Running is done 'in addition to' the two nights doing general exercise.**

With an added weekend run that moves for one day to the other depending on time of how I feel.

At the moment I'm ... come to think of it ... being lazy, need to pick up the pace! :D

How far do you run? I've never been a great runner but feel now is the time to change that. Don't know if I should use the run as more of a warm up before cardio on the bag, or as a seperate cardio session altogether.

Yep you can be a master in everything you like, but us women are always the boss!

I'd like to get more equipment out in the garage but it's just too wee.

I practice at home. At work we have a gym and outside the gym I installed a makiwara and Muay Thai bag

We have a gym at work too, but it's very basic. It's ok for weights but not much else. I've been on at them for months to get a punchbag but no joy as yet.

I train in some way at home 6 days a week. Different things, a couple of days for kata, a couple of days for just basics and a couple of days for weapons. I don't have any equipment (at the moment) so it's never punching a bag, which I would like to do much more. Also, I do various cardio and strength training.

Martial arts training is 30% classroom training, 70% solo training.

I'm curious, what does that note over the makiwara say?
