Let me know how you found it. :)

M.

I have tried it today .... just 4 minutes no more :kaioken:

it's pretty tough one :bawling: , I think 5 minutes 6 times daily will be the only way to do it.

They make it look so easy in the video too, I think starting at 5 mins is a good idea, but think it's one of those things the more you do it, the longer you'll last. Kind of like pull ups, last week I could only do 1 so I done countless sets of 1, now I can do 3. I think this will be the same.

If you're having problems with hip mobility, that means you're having problems with mobility period. Everything comes through the hips.

Try the 30min squat challenge:

http://antranik.org/the-30-minutes-a-day-squat-challenge/

You'll be surprised how much difference this will make. I did it and was shocked at how much more effective it is than all the other stretching routines. Give it a shot.

Great link. Thanks. I'm going to give this a go (30 minutes aargh)

The squat is a great exercise for both improving mobility and assessing where you are at. If you can't do it with all the key points in the posted link then you have movement restrictions that need to be addressed.

Can't recall if I've posted this before but also take a look at Mobility Wod

http://www.mobilitywod.com/episodes/page/7/

Start at exercise 1. It's no coincidence that this is also the squat.

Ohhhhhhhh that 30 minutes squat challenge is really tough, I managed to do 9.5 minutes just today ... my advice is try to watch a nice movie or program that you like while doing it, it makes great difference. 8)

I'm trying it too. Starting slow with two 5 minute stints per day.

The first one kicked my tush! But feels great.

Are your feet supposed to be parallel or in a slight V formation? The closer to parallel the more uncomfortable pressure I felt in my knees so I adjusted to a slight V. Thoughts?

I can do it for 4 seconds before I tip over backwards. What is the problem? Low flexibility in my calves?

I can do 12.5 minutes now :) & still trying to do more :karate:

I do it with a bit of V shaped feet to relive stress on my knees :) keep going and you will do it. Bit harsh but excellent results. I have noticed a big difference even with 12.5 minutes only not 30 :)
