Thanks mate, what diet changes did she do?

She stays away from anything with a high iron intake. She can't take any vitamin C supplements, because it promotes the absorbtion of iron. She has also cut out a lot of soda, especially store bought stuff with high fructose corn syrup. Some little things like that.

Well, I've been in discomfort and pain for the last two weeks. Visited my GP, I've been advised to stop the martial arts for a couple/few weeks and have been prescribed Naproxen for the pain (however not sure if the meds or the dose is giving me the bad stomach), so going to try to see the GP again today. The GP doesn't want to give any more advice (unless I get worse), I can understand that as they aren't specialists...

Yes wagnerk, Naproxen is very harsh on stomach and should be taken after food (preferably the main meal) but if you still have a bad stomach after that then better to check with your GP as you might need another medication to protect your stomach from Naproxen :wink:
