wagnerk Posted January 1, 2014 Share Posted January 1, 2014 It's ok, one thing that I would say is that from p 31, that's the grading syllabus for that kyokushin organisation. Some organisations, like the one I tried out will have slightly different requirements, eg they may have pushups as part of the grading at each level and not just for black belt (eg 10th kyu would be 10 pushups, 9th kyu 20, etc... up to 100 for 1st Dan).I would assume that the J, C & G stands for Jodan - head levelChudan - middle levelGedan - lower level eg for Jodan Oi Tsuki would be head level lunge punch (or stepping punch) Tang Soo Do: 3rd Dan '18Shotokan Karate: 2nd Dan '04 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
