Hello guys,

while browsing to read more about kyokushin style, I found this guide which might be interesting for you.

http://sbss.it/pdf/kyokushinkai.pdf

although it's called "The Ultimate Beginner Guide" but it might be interesting for many people.

I wish you enjoy it specially starting from p.31.

It's ok, one thing that I would say is that from p 31, that's the grading syllabus for that kyokushin organisation. Some organisations, like the one I tried out will have slightly different requirements, eg they may have pushups as part of the grading at each level and not just for black belt (eg 10th kyu would be 10 pushups, 9th kyu 20, etc... up to 100 for 1st Dan).

I would assume that the J, C & G stands for

Jodan - head level

Chudan - middle level

Gedan - lower level

eg for Jodan Oi Tsuki would be head level lunge punch (or stepping punch)

Cool, just wanted to say it, just in case :)

To be honest, I don't believe so.
