April 22, 201313 yr Army Combatives. Not sure of the actual name because I could care less about it haha.Being a retired professional mixed martial artist, I can tell you the combatives techniques used in the military do not work. Some of them do, don't get me wrong, but when I was in basic training, I submitted all the drill sergeants with real brazilian jiu-jitsu while they obviously used army combatives. It's a decent workout, but you're better off joining a real bjj school. Best of luck! Perfect Practice makes Perfect.

April 22, 201313 yr LINE was the predecessor to the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, which draws heavily on boxing, Judo, karate, Muay Thai, and BJJ. The only real way to learn it is to enlist in the Marine Corps. It's essentially a crash course in MMA, designed more to develop killer instinct than anything.
