sensei8
...Continuing a regular workout routine that incorporates a sledgehammer and a tractor tire??Certainly, I'll ask my doctor for his advise/opinion before I continue. Until then, I'm asking the members of KF for their opinions, and I thank you!! **Proof is on the floor!!!
JCavin
Absolutely not, imo.I would just make sure you are very progressive with it. You don't wanna try and punch a hole in the tire your first day, lol. There has to be a lot of guys in their fifties that still do this type of thing in their work. Lumberjacks, maybe?I think that if you just pay attention to your body, don't overdo it, take things slowly(which i'm sure is a no brainer for an 8th degree... ) you'll be fine. -James Cavin-
luca61
As a occupational therapist I would say no, especially if you don't have any pain or discomfort. My father is still happily chopping and swinging sledgehammer at the tender age of
Jay
Nah not at all hows this for inspiration As long as you are healthy and have no immediate health concerns its only going to help you in the long run. Fitness is until the day you die, look at jack lalane worked out on the morning of his death, very impressive. The key to everything is continuity achieved by discipline.
