Has anyone ever heard/know anything on Professor Carter Hargrave? I checked out his website and he is the president of the world jeet kune do federation, which is allegedly the world's largest jkd orgnization. But I've read up on this guy and everything I find says he's a fraud. What's the deal?!

Hmm, I had not heard of him. That is interesting. If there is that much negativity, I think that I would be warry.

Yea, that's what I figured. He's supposedly huge in the martial arts world but no one has ever heard of him and there is no record of his training prior to 1992, but some how he's a grandmaster. I ordered one of his jeet kune do DVD's and was seriously dissapointed. I mean the material was for real but I just feel like I was ripped off. It seemed like such a cheaply made video and he even goofs around a little in it. Forget that.

Hopefully the video was not a complete waste. Were you able to learn some good things from it?

Well it was just the very basics of jeet kune do. In fact, he even has more videos and I can see that everything he teaches seems to be legit, but since he himself seems not to be, I'm not sure if I really want to be involved with some one like that.

I heard that some forms of JKD do. Maybe I was wrong...

well he's supposedly a grandmaster in kempo but has extensive training in jkd so idk
