bushido_man96
The guys can grow up until they reach the age of 22, so there is still some hope left. Ladies are usually done growing by the age 17 or 18, I think. Heck, it may be 16.You should be happy, at 5'9", you have bettered me! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

lordtariel
I didn't grow any taller after 18(I'm also about 5'9), but my frame broadened out a bit afterwards. I've seen some people grow later though. There's no place like 127.0.0.
AikiGuy
I grew almost another inch between 18 and 20, so there is a good chance you will as everyone else stated. Of course, you never know since your genetics play a part in it. I do know guys who have stopped at or before 18 though but not many. Most go to at least 19 from what I have heard. I have heard that thing about women stopping younger but don't really know anything about that or why it happens. Paranoia is not a fault. It is clarity of the world around us. dragonwarrior_keltyr
I wouldn't be the one to ask for two reasons. One because I'm a girl (I'm assuming your a guy sorry if I'm wrong) and two because I haven't grown since I was 14 - 17, soon to be 18 now. I'm only 4'11 (and 1/2 ) so 5'9 doesn't sound bad. But you might, or at least fill out as they said above. External training without the training of the mind is nothing
bushido_man96
I have heard that thing about women stopping younger but don't really know anything about that or why it happens.A couple of reasons: 1. Girls just mature faster than boys.2. This is from my experience. My daughter has been taking shots for precocious puberty until recently. She has been on these shots most of her life. The shots were designed to keep her from hitting puberty too soon, because once she would hit it, and start menstrating, her bones would set, and she would be done growing. That is all of the knowledge that I can offer on the subject. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
TigerDude
One way to tell is how tall are your parents?A friend in high school was 5' 9" through high school & ended up about 6' 2" in college. I saw him after a year & was like, "Dude! Where'd that come from?" I can say that in high school he didn't quite look quite right, which was probably his body getting ready to sprout. If you think only of hitting, springing, striking or touching the enemy, you will not be able actually to cut him. You must thoroughly research this. - Musashi
baronbvp
Yep, concur. When I got my driver's license, I was 5'9" and weighed 120 lbs. When I graduated from college, I was 6' and 155 lbs. Now I weigh 175. It's life! Only as good as I make myself be, only as bad as I let myself be.Martial arts are like kinetic chess. Your move.
