Jack Posted June 3, 2002 Author Posted June 3, 2002 Thats good Phanta, you're damn lucky to have your own swimming pool! But no chinup bar? Why no pullups? They're the best muscle building exercise in this routine. And yeah, I have to organize this routine around lessons, sorting a routine out so I wouldn't be overly sore for a lesson was a bit of a challenge. Phantasmatic Posted June 4, 2002 Posted June 4, 2002 ...oh yeah, forgot that!! so what week are you on??? "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi
Jack Posted June 4, 2002 Author Posted June 4, 2002 Just beginning the second week. I find the cardio very tough but the strength training not tough enough (apart from the pullups). I recently got some pushup bars which allow a far greater stretch on the chest and really brings the chest muscles into play - more difficult than floor pushups as well, so I'm happy now. ZeRo Posted June 4, 2002 Posted June 4, 2002 week 3. mans its tough. do you guys do it in sets or all the puch ups then all the sit up ect?
Phantasmatic Posted June 5, 2002 Posted June 5, 2002 I do one set of pushups, then one set of situps, then one set of pushups, and so on. The running is the hardest part for me, I need to get my calves workin' again!! "Which one is more foolish, the fool or the fool who follows him?" - Obi Wan Kenobi

muaythaidm Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 First of all talking steriods is very DUMB If i were you i would take a multi vitamin, vitamin c, and a calcium pill every morning. I am gong to start this workout in 7 weeks, i just started a very very tough weight training program.
Jack Posted June 6, 2002 Author Posted June 6, 2002 Hey Muaythaidm, people that have been weightlifting that go to the army tend to lose a lot of muscle to gain that endurance. It would probably be more wise following this routine for 2 months or something and then doing the weightlifting, that way you will lose less muscle.
