Shotokan-kez
Hey guys....i need to vent...i am crying as i'm writing this...sounds stupid i know. My Ryan has just left for Barbados! He has a 9 hour flight from Manchester airport to Barbados then they are jumping on a cruise ship and cruising the carribbean for two weeks. I am sounding really sad about this but it's not that, he is my first born and we have been through so much together and i brought him up from a baby alone. He has never been away from me for more than a weekend. I am so happy this opportunity has come about for him, he is having a holiday of a lifetime at the age of 9 and this is something i will never be able to afford for him. I sent him off with lots of kisses and cuddles, it was raining and i had my toddler in my arms and really couldn't keep him any longer, i had to let him get in the car, he was getting very wet. i know he is going to be very well looked after, as he is going with his dad and his dad's family. I hope he isn't upset and enjoys every single minute of his adventure and brings me lots of photographs home, he even promised me a coconut! I'm being positive about the whole thing and have made some plans for me and Ethan to have some fun and spend some quality time together, i'm even going to take him to see santa. I'm sure all you parents on here can see it from my point of view, i just needed to talk to someone quick so Ethan didnt get to concerned!Kerry Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk

I'm sure with a devoted parent like you he'll grow up into a fine chap! But yeah, keep busy and chin up!
Shotokan-kez
Awww thanks guys! I do feel better, he'll be almost in barbados now, on the plane as we speak! He should land around 8pm. I managed to get some shopping to day for him and stuff. Ethan keeps thinking he's still at school It is peaceful though, with no fighting between them. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
patusai
Wow, I am tearing up while reading that a bit thinking how I would feel if I was in your place. I am sure that he will be fine. It is indeed an adventure of a lifetime. Wishing you the best until his return. bushido_man96
I know it is tough, Kez. When my wife would send our daughter to her Grandma's for a week, it was almost unbearable for her. And when we went to Jamaica to get married, she would call home almost every night, and end up teary eyed after it was all said and done.Just think of how great you will feel when he gets back! https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com
Shotokan-kez
Well i got a call last night at 11.30pm, they had arrived in Barbados safely and he was on the ship. One thing bothered me though. His nana called her husband in England from Barbados to tell him they were ok and then he called me at home. Now why couldn't they have called me first? I'm so glad he is safe but i just wanted to hear his voice. I'm being petty now i know, just i haven't spoken to him since monday afternoon, it's now wednesday. I'm just sat here wondering what he's doing now, i don't even know the time difference. I bet he's have a whale of a time. Walk away and your always a winner. https://www.shikata-shotokan.co.uk
