bushido_man96
That tutorial looks pretty good! I would follow those directions, and just keep at it. Try it with your hands until you get it down, though. Make sure to get a good burst with your legs, and then burst with your arms, too. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

bushido_man96
If you can get access to a trampoline, it makes for good practice. I think you want to kick your legs more up than out, but I like to kick them at about a 45 degree angle from the floor. https://www.haysgym.comhttp://www.sunyis.com/https://www.aikidoofnorthwestkansas.com

shogeri
If you don't bend your waist/core upward before your feet hit the ground it won't work. The upward motion is caused by dropping the feet up - out, and then back down. As the feet are going down, do a fast sit-up. Jiffy
I always thought it was called a Kick Up. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
Jiffy
BTW - the key to this technique is momentum. Get your body moving as fast as you can as quickly as you can. Momentum will take care of the rest. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
