Lift: pull ups

Weight: Myself

Reps: 15

I'm thinking of bumping up to 16 for my iron man marathon this summer

At 165lbs I bench pressed 305lbs once.

Most actual weight I've lifted would be a 450 half squat, if you don't count that, than a 415 deadlift. If you count leg press, than 750 for 8 reps, but that was before I started squatting. Leg press is just a cheap trick really, since most of the weight is supported by the machine.

If you can't laugh at yourself, there's no point. No point in what, you might ask? there's just no point.

Wow, I used to think I was pretty solid until I saw this thread. :P

Currently, my 1 rep maximum on the bench press is 225 lbs. I don't max on squat, since I'm pretty nervous about spotters since most of them don't know how to do it properly.

Back in my old playing days:

Bench: 385 for 5

Squat: 750 for 1

Leg Press: 1200 for 5

Deadlift: 575 for 1

Military Press: 275 for 6

Power Clean: 255 for 8

Best Shape I was ever in, and I was 19 years old. Now I'm 23 and couldn't touch most of those. But, with some motivation and advice. I hope to get back to something similar, and something that will help me with MA. Bigger numbers are not always better.
