Fields is an interesting signing for KC.  Reid has done good things with QBs like him in the past, and I could see some packages being set up for him to get a few touches near the endzone in a game, to keep Patrick from running the ball as much in those tighter areas.

I think the CFL runs an 18 game regular season, with 2 or 3 bye weeks.  If the NFL goes to 18 games, I'll bet the NFLPA will require another bye week.

Raiders sign QB Kirk Cousins free in the Falcons. It appears that he’ll be the starting QB for the Raiders. Why not?!?

That's probably a good idea.  Throwing Mendoza right into the fire won't be super beneficial, and he'll get a chance to see how a pro prepares for a game.  He could learn quite a bit from watching Cousins for the first 4 or so weeks of the season.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel has been accused of tampering in an attempt to get AJ Brown.  However, the NFL has decided not to investigate.  

Also, the integrity of the Coach of the Year award is being questioned now that Vrabel has been caught having a weekend getaway with a reporter who votes on the award.  Vrable won coach of the year in 2025, taking the Patriots from last place all the way to the Super Bowl in his first years as head coach.

Raiders 1st pick was no surprise…Mendoza. Test Mendoza in pre-season to see how he handles to NFL rushings and secondary. I agree with Brian, watch Cousins before considering to put Mendoza in, unless Cousins becomes a bust or gets hurt.

College is not the NFL.
