Jiffy Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Dance music I suppose would be the best as far as helping to get the blood pumping. Fast, powerful, rythmic. The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.

kenpo.stylist Posted September 2, 2006 Posted September 2, 2006 See, i listened to Nevermore and just couldn't get to enjoying it...maybe it was a mood thing.today, I worked out to Mozart: O Fortuna, and Bach: Tacatto and Fugue in D minor...man, that was great! O fortuna is very powerful and Tacatto and fugue is as close as classical can come to tchno and still be classical in genre...try it, you'll like it
Ace2021 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I can't train on my own without music!Usually it's Rock or Techno. A New Age Dawns
Jeet Kune Do Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Survivor: Eye of the tiger, Burning Heart, Hearts on Fire, No easy way outMulan: I'll make a man out of you, and the Jackie Chan Chinese versionSounds like you got the Rocky IV soundtrack going there! Good stuff!Yes, and now I listen to Rocky IV - Hearts on fire, it is very inspiration and determination song, I can train without music, but I can train much harder with music because when I am listening to it, I forget that I am training and when the music stops, my arms go tired and then they hurt the day afeter A drop of sweat spent in practice is a drop of blood saved in a battle.A person who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the man doing it.
Sohan Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 This is my absolute favorite music to train to. These are bands that no one has heard of that really rock:SupercellScars of LifeFaktionStone SourMortal RemainsKnotEyeSubcoreWaiting for the FallWith respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." Zen Master Nakahara Nantenbo"A man who has attained mastery of an art reveals it in his every action." Samuarai maxim"Knowing others is wisdom; knowing yourself is Enlightenment." Lao-Tzu
Syphax Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 I listen to whatever music corresponds with my mood. Sometimes, I enjoy training the forms to classical music and slowly executing each technique. And sometimes I crank up the techno and crank out the training.
