MizuRyu Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Does anyone else here listen to really loud music while they work out? I tend to crank some old Strapping Young Lad, Korn, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Carnal Forge and the like when I'm pumpin iron. "They look up, without realizing they're standing in the palm of your hand""I burn alive to keep you warm"
White_Tiger Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Sometimes I do, and sometimes I don't. But when I do...ROCK-N-ROLL!!!

kenpo.stylist Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 Oh, heck yeah! VNV Nation, Covenant, Manson, Rammstein, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, Slipnot, System of a Down, and others...I need a good pounding beat in my head. It defintely makes a huge difference. Plus my stopwatch is in my MP3 player so I ahve to have it on anyway to know how much to rest between sets.
Jiffy Posted August 26, 2006 Posted August 26, 2006 I think it's a great idea. Really helps with the focus! The mind is like a parachute, it only works when it's open.
