Does anyone else here listen to really loud music while they work out? I tend to crank some old Strapping Young Lad, Korn, Linkin Park, Mudvayne, Carnal Forge and the like when I'm pumpin iron.

I play so much stuff, I'm an old-school metalhead (not typical of ym age, too bad):

DIO! Iron Maiden, Metallica, Megadeth, Metal Church, Testament, Accept, Anthrax

Ad for more "modern" music: NEVREMORE!, Disturbed, System of a Down (pre-Mezmorize), or Seether

I listen to Christian power (pop) punk while I work out. I'm sure that's a popular genre... :D

Oh, heck yeah!

VNV Nation, Covenant, Manson, Rammstein, KMFDM, Skinny Puppy, Slipnot, System of a Down, and others...I need a good pounding beat in my head. It defintely makes a huge difference. Plus my stopwatch is in my MP3 player so I ahve to have it on anyway to know how much to rest between sets.
