Sohan
ok, another thing i wanted to bring about odor is of the feet. how does that work and how do you get rid off it? not that i really have it, onlyon certain days, but its bothersome. sorry to bring this up again lol.Just remember that foot odor, like other BO, is caused by bacteria. Bacteria likes to grow in wet, warm, dark places that have a good food supply (dead skin cells are yummy to bacteria). So keep your feet clean and dry, and never wear wet socks or shoes longer than necessary. Use foot powder or spray in your shoes and stuff them with newspapers after they get wet to dry them quickly. If need be, lay them in the sun for an afternoon to kill bacteria as well. Also,if you run daily, try purchasing a second pair of running shoes and alternate them in your running schedule. Lastly, always wash your feet when you get home from MA training and use an antifungal ointment immediately when you begin to notice signs of athletes foot.Hope this helps. With respect,Sohan "If I cannot become one of extraordinary accomplishment, I will not walk the earth." savedbygrace
Huh, that is interesting. I will have to start having Gatorade after my workouts. I find that when I come home from a TKD workout, I am so very thirsty, and I end up chugging the water in the evening to refresh myself. It is like I can't kick the thirst. The key is to drink sports beverages before and especially DURING your workout, to maintain your blood glucose levels. As your glucose drops, protein metabolism for energy goes up, and that's when the stink monster takes over.Try Gatorade powder in the large container. It's a lot cheaper, and essentially the same stuff. In a bind, fruit punch with a pinch of salt works great too if you add at least one part water to it.With respect,SohanVery good info. this is exactly what I do. The salt also will help (to some extent) with preventing cramps, for thos ewho have problems with them.
