as the reply above stated... EAT! EAT! EAT! EAT!. Get yourself on a good clean diet for bulking. Set yourself around 3000 calories a day. Drink tons of water. Make sure you're taking in a good source of carbs and fat daily, and lift heavy. Go for 4-6 reps, 3 sets with heavy weights.

Above all, give yourself time. Gaining muscle is just as hard as losing fat.

I don't have to be the best, just better than you!

Yes. In order to build muscle effectively you have to work out with weights, and eat a high protein diet. 3 months ago I could bench only about 155 lbs and I weighed about 145. After I started benching every other day (sometimes more time to rest depending on the severity of the workout), I would eat a lot of peanut butter, soy products, meat, etc. to reinforce my routine. I am now benching 190 and weigh about 165. When you do lift, do high weight, low reps, and push yourself to exhaustion. Good Luck.

Eat.

Eat.

Eat.

Theres no such thing as eating and eating and not gaining. Believe me, I was like you (6'2", 160) and I thought I was a big eater. When I look back to what I was eating.... I don't think I could survive anymore. Basically, you need to eat every 2 hours or 6 times a day, and not necessarily small. Remember that martial artists who crosstrain and lift weights are getting more than a fair share of cardio and therefore are burning tremendous amounts of calories.

I can't stress it enough, it took me a while to realize just how much food I needed to consume to grow. Actually, it took me trying to gain 10 pounds in one week for the arrival of a friend to realize how much food I could consume to maximize my gains.

I used to weigh about maybe 115, and now i'm at 133. One tip, get a pull up bar it can him you gain weight and work on your abs at the same time ( although working your abs with a stright leg can give you lower back problems doing them correctly with a bent leg can help)

That was before I started doing Muay Thai, and I never lift weights either. I always fear it can stunt my growth. Theres plenty of cardio involved which causes people to lose alot of weight fast. But the whole routine makes you stronger regardless

Aikido have names for techniques like "heaven and earth."which represents the creation of the universe along with a philosophical meaning.

Muay Thai have names for techniques like "closing the lamp", which means "punch him in the eye."

Eat Big! Lift Heavy, and Rest.. Hit each bodypart hard once a week, buy a High Calorie weight gainer to help you get in all your calories for the day, follow that up with a good Multi Vitamin and some extra Vit C and you will see some good results.. most important always keep it simple, and dont get into buying alot of supplements, save your money stick with the basics..good luck
