My goal is to get to 175 in 3 monthes, and weigh 185-190lbs for a long term goal. Once I started eating right but alot I have really put it on (I weight train AT LEAST four days a week).
Ahazmaksya Posted March 24, 2002 Author Posted March 24, 2002 My Cardio :...4 sessions a week, about 1.5 - 2 hours a session. Too much? [ This Message was edited by: Ahazmaksya on 2002-03-24 17:59 ]
muaythaidm Posted March 25, 2002 Posted March 25, 2002 Ahazmaksya to gain weight you should stick to compound movements in the weight room such as the bench press, squats, deadlifts, etc. As far as your cardio you should cut that back alot, maybe even in half.

spinninggumby Posted April 4, 2002 Posted April 4, 2002 I am 5'8-5'9 and 125-130 lbs I used to think and worry that I was too skinny but I think I've come to grips with it now, if I wasn't so light I might not have such a fun time with all those acrobatic and fancy flowery spin kicks and stuff that I love (you know, that stuff that will get you beat up on the street 'Conviction is a luxury for those on the sidelines'William Parcher, 'A BEAUTIFUL MIND'

zulu Posted April 18, 2002 Posted April 18, 2002 A Have you checked out the Body For Life program by bill Phillips. He has a realistic and attainable way to gain and sustain weight. you can also down load his various nutrition and excercise forms. the nutrition forms are for daily tracking of protien, carb's etc..., the workout forms alternate daily between cardio and free weight training. I do Muay Thai on the cardio days 3x week plus some technique work on various free weight days. Also supplement with protein shakes it's hard to get enough protien in your daily diet. take full advantage of your surroundings
