Leg cramps

Featured Replies

I have been stretching every day for about the past 2 months & man my calves always feel as though they are the brink of cramping and- quite often do. I know about extra pottasium to help prevent cramps at night but I am wondering if my old carcass is going to adjust to stretching, or is it "normal" to keep having these "charlie horses"...? :???:

normal from another old guy...take care to drink enough fluids. Remember it takes time to regain flexability. Allow time for your muscles to recover after a hard stretch. When in doubt read some of Bill Superfoot Wallaces info on stretching.

He's right you know!!!

Bretty

why do you need a days rest

stretching is not that bad of a strenous excercise, it keeps your muscles warm

where is the harm in that?

you can stretch every day but not hard stretch the muscle fibres need time to recover

Ad - we're talking (or I am) about development stretching, not maintenance or warm up stretching.

How bout you try taking Vitamins? Vitamins prevent muscle strain and shaking... they also have some elements that can help you stretch better..

A Basic Multivitamin can do this for you.

Do unto others, as they done to you.
