Do you have any tips about improving the jump?

Go out back, dig a hole in the ground so deep you can barely jump out of it, and start jumping, when that becomes easy dig a few more inches out of it, keep digging until you can jump 12 feet.

 

All seriousness, this is probably one of those balistic white-fiber training things, and aside from strapping on ankle weights and jumping, I imagine sprinting could be beneficial.

sounds like that could work..........goes and digs a big hole in his garden only to be beat down by his mum :lol:

I'd say...jumping. If you want to kick faster...kick. If you want to jump faster...jump.

just general training on your legs. (i have been doing touch rugby for about a year now and i can jump pretty high i think.) I have also found that excerise for the legs helps me agility wise.

alot of basketball players say that working out your calves help improve your jumping capability. Never tested it myself as I can still jump fairly high and never really focused on my calves.
