Getting back in shape

Featured Replies

I used to compete and was in decent shape. I took about 4 years off, to work on the mental aspect of what I had been learning. Now I’m ready to start getting back in shape. The thing is, I don’t have time to go to the gym and I only have one eight pound dumb bell (long story why I only have one).

I know the basic stuff - crunches, push-ups, cardio, etc. my question to you is, what else can I be doing with no weights or one 8# dumb bell that I’m not already doing to get in shape?

I don’t have any real goals, just to get overall strength and stuff.

Thanks.

Well, one tip for you if you want to lose some belly fat would be to cut down on calories.Thats just for overall finese. No more fast foods, chips, candy, snacks, etc.

Go for veges or fruits if your hungry between meals.

I wouldnt be to helpful on getting big,im more on the whole cut than buff scene.

I use rubberbands instead of weights,it gives off good resistance,i recommend those if you want to get cut biceps.

Doing different types of push ups also help the chest become cut.Diamonds, supermans, and wide armed are the ones I normally do.
