The reason is that you can develope skin toughnss before you can develope bone and tendon desity. remember do forarm & grip exersises. Striking hard objects in general tends to do the trick. I like to choose a tree with rough bark and lightly strike it repeatedly. To condemn the art of another is to condemn your own as well.
