pjbennett Posted February 1, 2005 Posted February 1, 2005 I'm getting myself in a position to be able to start kick boxing, so have began a simple daily stretching rouitne but am unable to perform the simple kick such as front lick or roundhouse. Does anyone have any tips for me so that I can be in the best shape possible for when I join a class? i'm otherwise very fit but the flexibility aspect is my stumbling block. Any tips are much appreciated. Thanks! Benno UK
1kickKO Posted February 2, 2005 Posted February 2, 2005 You can find many stretching sites online, just google it. I have my own routine but everybody's is different. Just be sure to stretch the hamstrings, and any other muscle ya think you need. Toe touches are perfect for front kicks, because that's what a front kick uses.

Maddwraph Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 also, there are those stretching books and yoga books you can buy that show a lot of different stretches. they arent that expensive either. best of luck. Im brasilian, but live in the united states. Really enjoying martial arts.
