Training retreat

Featured Replies

Hi, i'm new to the forums. Not really sure if this is the right forum for this subject so sorry if it's not.

A friend and me just spent 2 months out in the bush (i'm australian) a few months ago basically trying to live off the land and train every day. We didn't really get as much training as we were hoping done cause we sort of just messed around. Anyway I was hoping to try it again but this time do it a bit longer and was wondering if anyone knows any good ideas on places to go. I don't really want to be out in the bush again and my friend says he won't go anywhere with flys this time. I know this sounds silly but I kind of have that ideal image of training on a snowy forested mountain with a waterfall, but I have no idea where to find this. I was thinking of saving up and doing it in japan for 4 months this time but the visa hassles are huge so i'm not sure. Anyway I know this sounds really stupid but it's something I'd really like to do, I feel kind of disappointed now that I gave up after only 2 months out there on the last one and this time want to go for a full four.

Thankyou.
