WapCaplet Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 Way too hard to pick only one or two favorites....I love movies, as I think most of the people here do. Lord of the Rings is defeinitely up there. I don't know if that is becoming cliche or not, but it's still the truth. Fantastic movies. The original Star Wars trilogy will always be a favorite. Don't even get me started about the new so-called Star Wars movies. Thanks alot George "Sell-out" Lucas... Favorite epic battle movies: Gladiator, Braveheart Favorite dramas: The Usual Suspects, Dances with Wolves Favorite comedies: Groundhog Day, A Fish Called Wanda Favorite "mess-with-your-mind" movie: Fight Club Ah, who am I kidding? Movies are my favorite thing (besides karate). So I guess they are ALL my favorite. Wap "Fighting fighting. Same Same""But you know karate!""Someone always know more..."
italian_guy Posted July 27, 2004 Posted July 27, 2004 It is hard but I'll try. Apollo 13 My name is Sam Metropolis (F.Lang) Forrest Gump The Blues Brothers Milagro The good the bad and the ugly Once upon a time in America JFK (even if I do not fully agree with the version of the facts presented there but still a good movie). All movies by Bruce Lee Space Balls Some italian movie never translated into english like the ones directed by Luigi Magni (mostly movies about italian history). The star trek serie Blazing Saddles..... (surely I have forgotten some, anyhow I'll re-edit this message)

Fantastic role), The Last Samurai (hate Cruise, loved the film and his play), American Beauty, La Vitta e Bella (fantastic film about a different kind of courage and bravery), Schindler's List, Empire of the Sun ... I'll think more about the subject and eventually fill in some more titles. World Shotokan Karate

Rotten Head Fok Posted August 3, 2004 Posted August 3, 2004 1978, 5 Academy Awards including Best Picture! Best Directer: Micheal Cimino Best Supporting Actor: Christopher Walken this critically-acclaimed, extraordinarily powerful film tracks a group of steelworker pals from Pennsylvania blast furnace to the cool hunting grounds of the Alleghenies to the lethal cauldron of Vietnam. Robert De Nero gives an outstanding performance as Michael, the natural leader of the group. A serious drama of friendship and courage-and whathappens to these qualities under hardship. It is a shattering emotional experience you will never forget. Have you figured it out ? .............The Deer Hunter! You must be stable and balanced in your foot work, if you have to use your martial knowledge in combat, your intent should be to win. If you do strike, you must release great power! The martial arts are easy to learn, but difficult to correct.
