Natural
I'd do punching on snow ice etc push ups. A karate punch it is like a dasvasted stick blow. Instead, a blow of Kung Was is comparable to a lash with a chain that has attacked, allaltra extremity one ball of ferro
Rich67
I have been in fights too, many over the years, and I have never hurt my hands. This is due to the training that i put them through, I can punch concrete and steel and not hurt them. But i have conditioned them for many years and i break concrete and such all the time. Before i conditioned my hands and before i was seriously into the martial arts, i too hurt my hands and got them cut open in fights, but not any more.Is the skin on your hands calloused? granmasterchen
yes, the skin on my hands have become calloused very well and are very tough, but it didn't happen over night and suddenly punching a tree or some other hard surface make it that way. I had to train hard for years to get to the level that i am at today. That which does not destroy me will only make me stronger
equaninimus
Punching trees? What did the poor tree ever do to you? There have always been Starkadders at Cold Comfort Farm!
granmasterchen
what can i say , the trees usually just look at me wrong and then start talking alot of smack so just have to let them have it! hahahahaha, believe me, these trees arent getting hurt by my strikes, i dont beat on small trees, i work out on large old trees that are at least a foot in diameter, so i take more of a beating than the tree does, so dont worry, its ok and the trees are ok too, there wont be any tree funerals.... Topic
Granmaterchen, you really shouldnt punch at things that dont "give" like a tree, you will hurt your writst and elbow joints because the tree willnot move back so ur joints are taking alot of punishment, punch some thign that gives. granmasterchen
I am sorry to all trees. I have changed my evil ways. Thank you Topic, you make a good point, I seem to always punch things that have little to no give, like walls.....oh well. I may regret it someday, but as for now, I have no problems, some day I will probably not be able to use my arms properly, but being as stubborn as I am ....I will probably wait till that day to stop.... But then again, I am not too serious about that stuff anymore, I dont train all day to harden my fists....I will stop rambling now.... krunchyfrogg
What's wrong with good, old fashioned knuckle push-ups?
