which one do you more prefer in a fight using kicks or punches??

 

well for me if the person thats agaisnts me likes to kick a lot i would punch more and if they like to punch more i kick more

I really don't have any preference - I like to use both, but I am especially fond of my roundhouse kick, if you MUST have an answer :grin:.

I never actually thought about anything like that, I just tend to go by instinct how i feel at the time.

Yes, its best to do 50/50 (or at least try to). I tend to kick more...like Lori I use my roundhouse quite a bit ... (the best is a hook and come back with a quick round! :up:)

 

So basically I am trying to get inside more with the jab/punch/hooks.

I use both

 

I'll tend to distract the opponent's focus with a lot of hand or foot movements, then strike with the other. If someone is awair of this strategy then distract with hands, do a feignt kick and then quickly jab em :razz:
