  1. can anyone help me by giving me a site on how to tap into your ki-energy. one that is not a site that gives out bull crap of info. and plus does meditation help you in your awarness.

  3. i've been there where i didn't feel like training anymore, but i got myself back up in thinking of how others are getting stronger then me. how i'll get my butt kicked by someone i don't . Just think to yourself the more u don't train the more your going to get a beating.
  4. yeah thanks for the advice. I kinda of tested it after i did my weighted pushups. I did another excerise with punching with barbell. All of a sudden i felt like punching upt 4 minutes or more because my limit is 3 minutes. So should do all my different pushups with weights for now on or should just switch after each workout like tues unweighted and wed weighted.
  5. right now my limit of pushups is 50. I want to increase it quickly so i made a plan to do them with resistance on my back. I place a 40 pound weight on my back and do pushups on it. here's the problem i know harder pushups means stronger arms, but i don't seem to get any pains on my arms. as soon as i take them off i feel light as a feather. is this suppose to happen. helpp!!!
  6. well i can tell you a little of the key differences between these two. Well first for basic kung fu of course deals with more opened handed attacks. While karate deals with the opposite more on clenched fist and some opened hand attacks like the spear hand. Plus of course the way these different arts have you train. Well this all the info i can give. If you know these differences already. Then i probably wasted time typing on info you guys might know already.
  7. of course i'm going to get registered in a school. Plus with hard training with mind, body, and spirit you can achieve. Plus do know how a master made his own style by years of pratice of course i'll train in my style and other martial art school styles till i die. I'm in love with martial arts ever since i was 5. My uncle was a big fan of bruce lee. so i think i got basic jeet kune do training. and xtreme fury i do know the use of the horse stance. It's good for attacking and defending. Though it has some sides that your oppenent can attack. plus it's not mobile.
  8. if u went on the site i put on leaf you would see more of bruce's feats. He was at the point where he couldn't even fight a human, because no one at that time was able to stand against his speed and strength. He thursted his fingers on a coca-cola can which at the time was steel. The can was unopened. i know i may have said stupid things that may make me uneducated, but I'm not saying his the greatest ma in the world. Others have now surpassed him already. I'm just saying he's one of the best. YOu can't say oh he was good, he was great. anyone reading this be sure to check out the site.
  9. yes martial arts will help u in any sports. Also the sport will also help your ma too. The sport i play is basketball, when i pratice ma my shooting accuracy and speed were very high.
  10. i was wondering if anyone can give me any wrist strengthing and different types of pushups to strengthing different parts of my arms like the triceps and biceps ect.
  11. i know these are your opinions on bruce lee, but i have to say that what you say are the most arrogant things i've ever heard in my life. Bruce reached a peak that no other ma have ever reached. Physical and spiritual. The man trained no stop which i no other ma would do. If you knew him back then you would probably see him strectching or doing anything to strengthing his body. He would do that if he were to visit his friends or families home. He did amazing feat that no other ma has done. Like kick a 200-300 pound punchig bag and breaking it. It was even said by his friends that he busted a punching bag with only a sidekick. Plus how can u guys or girls compare him to Musashi. C'mon thats in the past. If people were to ask for a fight it wouldn't be to the death. unless they wanted to kill him.   13. some ma's might think i'm nothing but a fool. a kid who just playing and not very serious in ma. well i'm very serious in my art and my training. Anything goes may not be a fancy name or anything, but it sure makes a lot of sense. This styles either complete or not it depends on the martial artists that is using this style. I should be more specific on this style. yeah i know i said take techs from other styles, but thats not the only facter in it. U might just build a fighting style or fighting plan on your own when your fighting an opponent. U seek for his/her weak points and attack. like the horse stance for explain yes it's a strong stance but it has no speed just relies on power. Plus it's unguarded on sides where the person can't defend themselves. also in anything goes when u are confronted by someone in the streets who want to hurt u and the person is stronger and faster and u don't have any idea how to manipulate ki to use there own ki against them. Then u may just think up anything at that moment like kick in the groin or kick the shin. or even poke the eyeballs. We humans if faced with life threating situations like someone attacking us and we may not know how to fight may just simply throw anything out on the person to ensure safety to themselves. Thats what is ment of my style, but i won't kick the groin on sparring. that would be dishonor and disrepect.

  16. we really won't know which race is best in fighting it depends on the person. but if usa was never introducted to ma. i guess asian might be victiories since they are able to channel their life force. again it depends
  17. well your half right and half wrong. so of those techs are real like the hammer fist, power punch, one-inch punch, fall away ( i named it that because it's a a kind of tripping tech that anyone can do.), hip toss,palm thrust, flash elbow,trible kick, and double kick. those techs are from other martial arts styles. the others like the 3 ring circus and g-clef cannon are my techs, but they are very effective techs.
  18. monday-thursday i do pushups, then do it with my fist, punch with 10 pound weights for 2 mins, lift up a 20 pound weight for as long as i can lift, then i get my heavy bag put it on and go in push up position but with my fist and kind of move to another side of a room while in push up position. after that i do situps, then run with the heavy bookbag, then i skip rope, go against a wall in as if i'm sitting on a chair holding two 10 pound weights in my hand and try to hold this position for as long as i can. after thats done i work on balancing, then reflex training by bouncing a ball on my hands then practice my accuracy. then when training is done i meditate. during fridays through sundays, i punch for 10 minutes then, kick 100 times per leg, practice my techs, then punch a punching bag, also hit the the punching bag with my palm, then i do finger jabs on a wall for 5 minutes, all of this training is good in keeping my heart pumping, endurance, stamina, strength, speed, reflex, accrucay, and mind. i'm almost forgot to add that i stretch for 10 minutes.

  20. the double dragon kick u have to jump first hitting the stomach with a front kick and use the other to hit the kidney. and lol no u it has nothing to do with a barnum and bailey. it's kind of a spinning motion in where u kick there knee. while u are turning back u punch them. then when turn back again punch them again and do a a spining kick. it's kinda of complicated to explain with words.
  21. i don't see tighting your stomach without using a kiai will be so effective in combat. it would be better to just do a kiai, because u might forget to tighten your stomach when your fighting.
  22. well the double dragon kick is just a side step kick that is executed by have a kick hit the stomach and the the kidney. the g-clef cannon is a straight punch to the face, then a mini hammer punch. then u bring that hammer punch that was execute and raise it to become a uppercut. i'm not quite sure how to describe the three ring circus to u.
  23. the techs that i use are the hammer punch, power punch, g-clef cannon, one-inch punch(still in means of perfecting it), triple kick, double dragon kick, three ring circus, fall away, hip toss, double kick, flash elbow, palm thrust. well i tried to hide it but i do have more techs then this.
  24. i disagree with u a martial artist doesn't need a belt to be one. i agree what u said with the belts it does show how hard u work and the dedication u put into it. but if your praticing it your truly a martial artist. the belt will never determine if you are or not. that something u have to understand even if your a white belt or not.
