  1. ...said over an airport tannoy system...(you have to say these out loud) "would...Maimatejusvaarted...and...Levvtdaroom da'Baarstaired, please come to the information desk, you have a taxi waiting." I have loads more of these... me xxx
  2. Hah hah! that's so true, talk to any boy about girls, sweat and humidity, all in the same sentence??? ...no offence meant of course...but you can see what i mean. me xxx
  3. oh dear.... go get some sleep sweetie pie, heres a big mental *hug* for ya. try going for a walk before sleep, and stay off the caffiene. Try not to think about what is bothering you. be happy. me xx

  6. don't worry, i just got my yellow belt too. can't wait to get my next one! me xxx
  7. i'm 17, 18 in feb. i'm lovin it, but i'm at that stage where i'm gettin impatient, where you want to do all the things you can do at 18 but cant unless you like being labelled as a "kevin" or "perry". when i turn 18, im just gonna explode and live life to the full, not that i don't now, you just have more fun without parents being overprotective of thier "little" girl! me xxx (yeah...right)
  8. well, at least when they are so expensive, it makes me take them more seriously! but there's also the cost of the training sessions, and transport costs! no wonder i'm so poor! :bawling: *sigh* well....iv'e got tax to look forward to aswell.... :bawling: me xxx
  9. by the way, i thought i was immune to what they say about how if you get one tattoo, you're bound to get more.... but i was wrong, i did promise myself i wouldn't get another one, but i just really wanted another one. I think it's probably the addrenaline rush before you get it done, and the thrill that you have "another" tattoo. for some people that's what its all about. but i hope i don't get any more, i think ive got enough now, besides, there's no where really that i could get one without it being too close to the others and clashing! try not to get one where you can see it all the time, that wasy if you do regret it later, no one has to see it. mexxx
  10. well a tattoo on a girls foot may be sexy, (one of the reasons i got it there though.... ), but it was also v.v painfull. i personally don't like cartoony tattoos, they often look nothing like the cartoon character, and when colour fades it doesn't look very nice. my gecko is plain black, and at the moment the one on my foot is just an outline but i might be getting it shaded in with one simple colour (i wasn't sure so i left it- and it only cost £10 that way!). me x
  11. i heard this on the local news lastnight; After a tip-off from one of their friends, two boys were caught just outside Derby yesterday adn taken into custody. one was drinking battery acid, and the other one was eating fireworks. after a short trial, they decided to charge the fist one, and let the second one off.
  12. i think stuff like tae bo etc... is good because going to the gym is soooo boring sometimes im actually thinking of taking it up for more cardio vascular workout because i hate running! i dont mind sparring with guys, but i dont like the way that they sometimes hold back, because they dont want to hit you. sometimes my instructor tells them not to hit back at all so they can work on their defense, but then I dont get the defense workout. there are also hardly no other people (boys or girls) at my level to spar with. so i either have to hold back, or get no defense work.... i think i need to have a word with my instructor. whatever you do, have fun and get fit! me x
  13. i am getting worried here.... should i stop wraping? ive done it scince i started to protect my wrists, and now im hearing that i should not wrap them and try to strengthen them? :???: personally i dont see the point as i am simply doing kickboxing because i enjoy it, it keeps me fit, its great stress relief AND i hope to fight in amature competitions soon. besides, i never get into fights and dont plan to, but if i did the bleeding knuckles would be a reminder not to get into fights. is there ever a situation in proffesional fights, where the contestants have bear knuckles then i think it is ok to strengthen them confused me x
  14. what seems to be happening here is that talking about anger is making people angry, and the reason is simple. listen to other people's arguments and if you don't agree then fine, say so, but leave it at that, let people have their say or otherwise things may get out of hand. NO POINTLESS BICKERING PLEASE. I found that one good technique while training is to relaxe and not tense up. i found out that i work a lot better without shouting while kicking, which is a habit i picked up. it tenses your whole body up and hinders your speed and accuracy. also, try not to screw your face up etc.... this also makes you appear constipated. jus' me xxx
  15. well i wouldn't wory about it AT ALL. your balance is probably fine, but if you had a virus or a head cold, it can affect you balance. I had this virus once and it was just a stomach bug, but everytime i tried to stand up i felt like i was spining round and i just fell over. I usually have an off day about once a month, but this just means i tend to hit people alot harder! :kaioken: .....don't we all have days like that. me x
  16. well it sounds like you guys know your suplements, creatine is a good one but only if you train a lot, and i mean everyday for about 3 hours at least. creatine is found naturally in the body and is involed in the creation of energy within the muscles. Taking a supplement simply means that hard training people can push themselves. avoid weight gain/weight loss products, they are all hype and are often simply a placebo. we got this one weight loss tablet called "zotrium" the ingredients are gurana (natural form of caffiene, damiana, and another one i forget the name of (which is a natural laxative). it also tells you on the packet to drink a whole glass of water with the tablet. basically the caffiene makes you feel good, the laxative is an extreme weight loss solution which is v. dangerous, and the glass of water makes you feel full-up. all this costs about £25 for 60 tablets. i'd say stick to a healthy diet and either simple or no supplements....if it ain't broke, don't fix it. me x
  17. I always sweat loads when i train, and i know for a fact that its not because im unfit, simply because i also have a high metabolism and its kinda linked to that. one thing to remember is that sweating isn't a bad thing, its just your body's way of cooling off. I like to think that the more i sweat, the hotter i am, therefore, the more calories i am burning off!!! But don't judge someone if they don't sweat alot during training, their probably working just as hard as you! me x
  18. Hiya BABYSTEFFEE! Where in the UK are you from? me x
  19. i like this, the only jokes i get to hear are my dads, and they suck BIG time! Two fish in a tank, one turns to the other and says; "how do you drive it then?"
  20. If you feel you will have problems coping with stress, there are many ways of helping with this like deep breathing, meditation, and martial arts! I would DEFINATELY avoid this new anti smoking drug they have just brought out, it isn't doing anybody any good from what ive heard. i work in a health food shop, and i recomend going to your local health food shop to see what they have. we stock herbal cigarettes, and herbal gum and tablets to help you quit. One thing i would recomend is called "rescue" or "recovery" remedie. It should come in a small bottle and all you have to do is put a few drops on your toungue when you feel stressed out, or like you need a fag. Hope this helps you! luv me x
  21. my worst exercise is actually a stretch, where u sit on the floor, stick one leg out away from your body, and tuck the other one, bending it at the knee, right into your body. you then have to stretch forward and to the side, and i find it really painfull. is there a point to this stretch? or is it just me that feels like their hip is dislocated everytime they do it? me
  22. hey guys, ill put a pic up as soon as my scanners fixed, i think its posessed or something...the power light stays on even after you switch it off. anyways, im off to kick the old box caz xxx
  23. I wouldn't worry about it, theres no reason to get it done somewhere just because its local. besides, how do you think these guys became tattoo artists? they train for years, and they use carbon, to put a copy of the tattoo on your skin so they have somehting to guide them. If your not sure, ask around to see some of the artists work on other people, or try somewhere else. i wouldn't worry about it going wrong, they don't rush these things, and even if something did go wrong, they wouldn't charge you a penny. cazxxx
  24. as said before, i wouldn't get one done so young, not only might you regret it later, but you are bound to grow loads more. plus, dont just get them because your mates have them, or because you think other people will think your cool. I got mine because they each have a different meaning behind them, and they will allways mean something to me. Chill...theres no rush. caz xxx
  25. well i think tattoos are ok unless u have loads, and i dont think that guy was wise to get one at 14 because people change their minds alot when they grow up. I LOVE Giger! hes my all time favourite artist! anyway, i think tattoos hurt, but i got them all in painfull places. the one on the small of my back wasn't too bad, but the one i just got on my foot... ouch. that had to be the all time worst pain i have ever felt, especially on the tender bit just between the toes and on the knuckles. i wouldn't recomend getting one there. i wouldn't recomend getting your name either, i know someone who got his name, dave, on his arm, and he kept getting hit on by gay men in this club we went too. he kinda regretted it then.lol cya, luv n spikes, cazxxxxxx
