  1. well our belts go like this; white,red,yellow,orange,green,blue,purple,brown,brown-white,brown-black,black, and then you get black 1st dan,black 2nd dan,etc...up to about 12th dan i think... i haven't got any higher co it costs £20 every grading, and im only a poor student, boo hoo. luv n spikes,caz xxx

  4. HI my name is caz and i'm from derby in the UK. I'm a sixth form student and enjoy the usual....moshing at gigs, drinking, eating sleeping, and i guess i'm the only one in my year who goes kickboxing. But hey, that gives ME the advantage. Iv' been going kickboxing for nearly three years now and I have recently gained my orange belt. I LOVE the sport and it's changed my life completely. And just to make anyone out there working jealous, iv'e just been on holiday to Zakynthos in greece, and it was 42 degrees in the shade. Also, in case you hadn't guessed, i can't half ramble on if i want to! nuffin but respect for'yall me xxx

  7. Try to build your muscles up through training, if you use weights you can build up too much muscle around your joints and loose flexibility. There's a balance you have to strike, just don't forget to keep stretching! ....I may not know much... but i know some.
  8. HI again, thanx for the great advice, i already knew about a lot of those things , but i will remember to keep looking forward, as my back aches sometimes after certain stretches. I got my orange belt recently and i am currently workin up to my next one, plus i hope to go into competitions soon so i need to train as much as poss! By the by, has anyone heard of Dale "the snail"? Oh well.....off to the pub i go

  10. hi, i'm new here and i have a question for you. I have never really been very stretchy, and my hips are a particular problem, i've tried all sorts of stretches, but are there any i can do at home that will increase my flexibility for things like head kicks etc...? cheers me dears, caz.
