I like jake am lucky. Aside from the bloody nose and low blows i havent been hurt tht much. If anything i would take a small amount of time off or just take it easy in class untill everything heals. -
My friends are starting to get into paintball. I enjoy it my self but i lose a lot of money renting guns. I was wondering does anyone have suggestions for a gun to buy for a beginer that isn't going to leave a massive whole in my wallet.

I just finished watching "Barbershop" and one of the characters said "All Rosa Parks did was sit her black *** down." i was wondering what you all think of that. I think that i mean its wrong but it isnt. he is entitled to his opnion but it was disrepectful.

we have 12 blackbelts and 3 jr blackbelts(kids) -
my space seems a lot like monkeygirl's....o yeah we go to the same dojo. i wear my pants to class but bring my gi top. As monkeygirl if i go somewhere after class i leave the pants on. if we have a demo i wear my gi outside of class.

my little sister and take Tae kwon do together my mom and step dad tried it but they both had diff medical reasons that they had to stop.

Angelus- WE have a saying at our dojo, "Stretch outsaide of your comfort zone. This means push yourself but don't go until you have pulled muscles. theswarm- The muscle soreness may be from excersise such as flynig squats(go touch ground jump as high as you can repeat) if the soreness continues the you may have something. if we have an intense class the next day almost ALL my muscles hurt and i know i couldnt have pulled all of them. Mainly if it is a new sensation you may consider it if it is repeated should be the muscle growing.

Conditioning to me is when you do excersises (with or without a partner) to help build resistance from certain pains or helping you get ready to make it easier to do things (endurance/stamina as other posts have stated). Exp; work onj abs for less stomach pain; work on shins for when shins collide less pain (shin gaurds help with that one );same thin for your forearms.

I voted for bo...although i do enjoy doing the Kama I need a lot of improvement, and with the bo i know more strikes and can perform them pretty well compared to the kama where i am not sure if i am even doing some of the stuff correctly

Time in the dojo or time in the gym?

With my school work and karate i don't have time to even think of a gym....though i do many people that wanna get "buff" and all. With my gym class at school and regular warm ups at my dojo i am becoming "buff" a lot quicker than they are. So i guess whatever results you want depend on where you train.
