weren't ninja a term for assassin

as long it helps you to fight better it doesn't matter what you do. Bruce Lee said something along that line

from a safe distance.. this is coming from someone who in "cheating? is there such a thing" post has said he'd bottle someone or kick em in the groin in a fight, for the sake of fear of fighting. i guess you only do martial arts for point fighting.

when i saw "who cares... it's just a stupid soccer game" it p***ed me off aswell. football is one of the most played sports in the world, if not the most.

I am not a belt, I am a human being!
Sin Style replied to Tim Greer's topic in General Martial Arts Discussion
being a higher ranked belt doesn't make a you a better figher. i beat up a karate black belt very easly and had a negative view of karate for a while, now i think hes just a lame fighter and total respect for karate. i always think of belts a reward for commitment -

if you win by keeping your honour you win the respect -

in a street fight id never bite or punch kick to the crown jewels i think it makes you look weak "ha i took down the hardest geezer in the area" but you did it in one hit with a low blow? theres no honour in it. but if i was out number a good toe punt to the nuts would work very well -

i have a question too, how long does it take to become a 7th dan?

i think tournaments are a way of showing what you've learned from your art. i didn't try to argue with him he'd probs beat me up
-
didn't think of that, i put it in Google and found the website for the same place i got the named from. its a style he named himself
-
i went to a Ninjutsu training center and was talking to the guy i asked about tournament fighting and he says when you enter tournaments your martial art u learnt is no longer a art but a sport what do you think ?
-
yeah i reckon he thinks if i call it shotokan in army people well think it different and go to that instead. so, anyway know anything about taishindo karate ?
-
maybe special forces like the SAS should learn ninjutsu/ninpo
-
well what i meant at the start was is shotokan in the army a style as that what the guy said he teaches not shotokan karate, shotokan in the army i was wondering what is different, i guess i could have wrote it better. when i was training to be in the marine's the marine used to just throw us about and joint lock our arms and stuff. i dont the Brittish army does a martial arts as at the start he said "anyone do martial arts ?" whoever put the hand up became a test dummy all day
-
i dont think it should be based on the persons IQ, shouldn't the punisment (spelling? ) fit the crime, we need capital punisment in england, people get away with anything in our country
-
i know some martial arts are based on certain army training krav maga - israeli ROSS and SAMBO - russian san shou - chinese tukong moosli - south korean also ive read that US army's is based on ju-jitsu
-
couldn't u do bad on the IQ test to get a low score and save ya self
-
im now starting up martial arts and im looking at place's in my area ive found one that teaches shotokan in the army my mate reckons this is different from normal shotokan karate, which is better ? also another place that teaches taishindo karate is this any good i aint read everything about it
