  1. I do too...I been working with Americans For Nonsmokers Rights with some lobbying.
  2. Thanks guys...it always good to know kindness still exist. I talked to the head of Surveillance the other day he said its a tough toss up between me and someone else. In the mean time my new manager aware of my concern is been very accommodating. Keepin me in the high dollar section where we don't have much smoke. (Which it don't matter..but it's not as bad.)
  3. When I first started I was barely ably to do 1 push up. Now I can do 15 flat hand; 15 on my knuckles and 15 finger tips. Hang in there you'll get it.
  4. Good luck..You can do it
  5. I know..I been in contact with Americans For Nonsmokers rights. We are working on getting a study together. And fight this. However..I had an interview for Surveillance Agent. Which is way off he gaming floor. I won't be in contact with anyone. But a few people. Matter of fact I never have to see the gaming floor again. Downside I will take a huge pay cut...but I will be in an office located underground. Only 10 people from the gaming floor will be allowed to talk to me. I'm allowed to bring my own lunch or utilize any our restaurants for free. Providing I'm giving this job..
  6. I aggree with you 100% ..I'm thinking ways to kill most of my bills so I can handle the pay cut.
  7. I work at a casino as a card dealer. One issue has been coming up lately is ETS (Enviroment Tobacco Smoke). My karate training as helped me to become more aware of my health. I have to work behind a table for 8 hours or more. When get off work not only I stink but I fell so sick. To keep from boring you..is their any type of suppliments i can get that can hel my body fight off the effects of the poisons from ETS? Also what about breathing excercise to help my lungs rid the bad air? ps-I'm a non smoker myself. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the welcomes.
  9. Go Fish..LOL.....Uno
  10. Here's mine. http://www.myspace.com/last_5_liter I'm always adding new content. Like today I added a Battleship game.
  11. Check out https://www.partypoker.com They got tutorals there for beginners. It where alot of us Blackjack dealers hang out and play some.
  12. Hey Jiffy sorry it took time to get back on your question. It really is the same. We just more down to basic shotokan. Where we focus on technique rather than "just do it cause I said so". I think I said this in a earlier reply if i did sorry for the double post. We focus on bunkai or the hidden meanings of kata's and applications.
  13. Like Cathal said many style use pressure points in their applications. Shotokan-Jutsu is the style I study. Besides Gichin Funakoshi learned his karate from Yasutsune Itosu and Yasutsune Azato, both were great Okinawin masters. http://www.shotokai.com/ingles/history/okinawan.html Good luck and happy training
  14. That it is..we primary focus on breaking everything down understanding the bunkai of our movements. Including pressure point application. And especially kata. We actually study applications for our katas. With Eddie, our Sensei, if you don't quiet understand a block or some applicaion. He'll break it down and explain what is happening. How and why. We are a very traditonal school. The only high dollar piece of trainning equipment is a verse-flex machine and a heavy bag Bob. To earn your belt first you have to memorize you kata, then demostrate you know your stances, punches, kicks and blocks. Then demostrate pressure point application. Sorry to keep going on..I just love my style. Over the pas few months I really been getting into it. Happy training David
  15. I'm not sure about the embroidery since its been awhile since I've been to their website. I'm sure they can give you an answer if you email them. They were very good with their customer service from what I remember. They will be more than happy to ebroider your name. Looks great too! I been in talk with them about ordering me 2 Gis.
