  1. I see Stallone listed as the executive producer during the end credits. I don't know what an executive producer does though.
  2. I haven't seen Stalone this season, but he was quite prominent last season.
  3. nice link, lordtariel
  4. I personally have never tried a plyometrics program, so my opinion on that one is pretty useless, however, I have a good friend who swear plyometrics is the greatest workout plan ever. Taking a look at the website it looks like a scam, big flashy words and letters, guarantees that no professional trainer would make, as they say, "if it sounds too good to be true it usually is." What exactly would your goal be for this program, if I may ask?
  5. If you get FitTV there is a show on called Deadly Arts. The show's host is a French Canadian woman who goes to different countries exploring the marital arts. It's not a great show, but not bad. She does a decent job explaining the history and working out with them. The show's worth watching just for the history. BTW, I don't think her technique is the greatest in the world, but her desire is amazing, and for someone her age, she's in incredible shape (but not much to look at) I saw one on Muay Thai whilst flipping through and was impressed with the respect she showed that art.
  6. Do you really want acceptance based on falsehoods and errors though?
  7. I should have seen it coming, it was pretty funny anyhow
  8. Pretty funny, I've known a ouple of ladies very much like that one.
  9. The thing that really gets to me is one of the promos claimed that those were the 30 best martial artists in America or the world, something to that effect. There are a couple of six year old girls in the junior class before mine that look much better than most of them.
  10. Wow, the you tube link was pretty pathetic, they kept moving away from each other and no head contact? who came up with that bizzare rule?
  11. sorry to hear about that, when i was about his age our cat died under similar circumstances, it was pretty rough.
  12. Welcome Max, and nice pseudonym by the way
  13. i think this post should be in a different forum, I remember seeing it elsewhere.
  14. As far as Ju Jitsu, Jiu Jitsu, Jujitsu, i don't think so, but as far as between japanese or brazilian than yeah i think it does.
  15. What did they mean when they said street fiighting?
  16. From what my master has explained to me Traditional or Japanese Ju Jitsu has a focus on performing lock and throws while standing up, while brazillian Jiu jitsu focuses on taking the fight to the ground and working on submissions from there. That is why we practice both because each one is half of the fight. That is what I've been told anyhow.
  17. Here's the like to the Anderson Silva Highlight Reel Sohan Mentioned http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82aL3J4IblA&mode=related&search=anderson%20silva%20fights
  18. what do you have in common with shadow, may I ask? (hopefully it isn't walking thrugh walls) Well, we're both intelligent brunette martial artists whose parents are divorced. The only thing I DON'T have in common with Shadowcat is I don't have a Colossus of my own. I see, you'll find yourself a colossus one of these days, then you'll just have to be able to transubstantiate, then you're all set
  19. what do you have in common with shadow, may I ask? (hopefully it isn't walking thrugh walls)
  20. well I guess it's good that I'm taking martial arts then, since I am considering Law school and all.
  21. Welcome to the forums.
  22. I pay monthly and can go upto 5 times a week (because there are only 5 classes), I usually go to 4 because I have an academic class the other day.
