Yes. Im originally a righty and my stance was wrong. He told me to get in my stance as if i was about to get into a fight. I stood left foot forward, right arm back. It had always worked for me in the stret rights I have been in. He taught me to have my power up front. No need for it to be tucked away in the back when I can have the same power faster and with better control. He then, as you said, had me switch it up so my left arm/leg was in the front. I actually felt pretty good in that stance. Felt better than I thought it would I'm looking forward to my next class -Ray
